Project OSMOSIS task: Arrangement and accomplishing of Osmosis Open Event in Latvia

Description and results:
On the 11th of June, 2022, in Tukums, Latvia, OSMOSIS Project Partner from Latvia has organized an OSMOSIS Open Event during the Para Sports day 2022. It invited more than 130 participants from all over Latvia, as well as 31 volunteers. Athletes had the chance to see and try our different Paralympic sports, for example, rowing, shooting, archery, athletics, sitting volleyball, Boccia etc.
Attendees:
– 137 athletes / participants, from which 106 were people with disabilities,
– 31 volunteers,
– 5 employees from the Latvian Paralympic Committee,
– 3 media representatives – Talsu Vēstis, photographer Reinis Riekstiņš, Neatkarīgās Tukuma ziņas,
– 4 sponsors representatives.
